The media center in the heart of this new elementary school invites study under a "tree of learning". The tree emphasizes the school name, Forest Elementary. It is also featured in the diagonal window mullions in the upper window panes representing tree branches in a forest. The skylight allows natural light to flow through the tree and brighten the reading bench below. The design provides a creative way to sit under a tree and read a book without leaving the Library!
