Natural light gives students, teachers, and staff a connection with the outside world without negatively impacting a building’s energy performance. Controlled sunlight can be designed to enter a building while ensuring the building's heating and cooling performance. The Orange/Yellow Wall takes advantage of this designed admission to instruct students about the interplay of light and color, light patterns, and times and seasons. In addition, the window wall provides a lens to see others in various colors and shades of light! Visibility between areas also provides a safer environment.
