Playing on the multi-dimensional concept of color, the Brighton Elementary School flooring design fuses art, education, and racial diversity into one functional element. Using the three-color primary palette, floor tiles are placed strategically in hallways to demonstrate how the mixing of primary colors results in secondary colors. This concept enables easy and creative teaching of the color wheel while acting as a symbol of the integration of racial and structural diversity in the school.
