History Finds New Home

Montgomery Elementary School reflects the personality of the community and preserves the school’s history through the integration of key artifacts into the design. The historic bell from the “Montgomery Special School”—built on the same site in 1899—now resides in the new bell tower modeled after the original. The arched dedication stone from the same school serves as the focal point of the main entry. These relics immediately establish a sense of history.
