Panther Lake Elementary is about color and fun; bold geometry and learning; school and community use. The building transcends the merely physical or rational arrangements of space, and supports connections and relationships. It creates flexible, easily adaptable interior spaces to respond to the ever changing educational model. To conserve resources, the design uses an absolute minimum amount of finishes, bare concrete flooring, bold painted walls and recycled cotton treatments over more conventional materials.
