Open the Window, I Mean Wall![]() Deems Lewis McKinley ArchitectsThe challenge? Designing an addition to the existing "Cantina"/lunch area at Sir Francis Drake High School that would provide a modern, vibrant and spacious gathering place for both student and community gatherings. The transparency of the facility successfully allows the building addition to feel much larger than its 4,000 square feet. The large folding wall system by Nanawall allows the lunch area to open to the exterior, thus creating an almost seamless indoor/outdoor space.
