Within this new high school, flexibility and technology will come together to create a series of "schools-within-a-school." Designed to be LEEDŽ Silver Certified, V. Sue Cleveland High School will effectively prepare students for post-secondary education, or to go directly into their chosen careers. To achieve LEED Silver Certification, the new high school will feature extensive natural lighting, low maintenance materials, heat-reflecting roof materials, and ground-source heat pumps. Additional Info: Each academy will be self-contained and equipped with its own administrative offices, guidance areas, restrooms, teacher planning areas, group areas, lockers, and computer labs. Classrooms will be highly flexible and technical, including movable furniture to support unlimited teaching configurations, wireless network, interactive white boards, overhead projectors, and audio enhancement systems.
