Urban Sci-Tech Magnet School

Students at the newly renovated Pittsburgh Science & Technology Academy will learn by example through their learning environment. Exposed building systems, painted ductwork, cable trays, glass mechanical chases and floating suspended ceilings adorn the hi-tech labs, classrooms and corridors of this state of the art facility. The vision for this one-of-a-kind school included exposing the inner workings of the building and integrating them into the program and function of the building as well as achieving a transparent separation of community, education and administration.
