LEED Signage-Collaboration-Element 2

Hillside Middle School will be the first school in the Salt Lake City School District with a LEED rating. A collaboration between artist John Schaefer of Media Divide, art students, language students, science students, and the design team created signs which are placed throughout the building to explain and illustrate its various sustainable design measures. The signs also comment on things the students can do, in their lives, to improve environmental sustainability.
