Burke High School

Burke is the only existing public high school in the Charleston urban district. The majority of the existing campus was demolished to accommodate new administrative offices, media center, dining/kitchen, gym with seating for approximately 2,500, and a new theater with 700-seats. The buildings wrap and totally enclose two secured courtyards which were landscaped and allow additional daylight into the interior classrooms and media center.
