Blach & Egan Gyms Panel & glazing System

The City of Los Altos and Los Altos School District teamed up to construct gymnasiums at each of the two Los Altos middle schools. A prefabricated panel and glazing system brings indirect natural light and ventilation into the buildings on all four sides, with glazing orientation adjusted to solar orientation. The panel is glass-fiber-reinforced concrete on a light steel frame. Vertical windows contain operating sashes.
