During development of the school, a partnership agreement was reached between Prince George's County Public Schools and the Maryland National Parks and Planning Commission to provide joint facilities for communal use. The school provides meeting spaces, a basketball gymnasium, an exercise room and athletic fields for use by the community. These amenities are jointly shared and operated by the two governmental agencies and enables the school to be a focal point for the community.
