The courtyard created from the addition of the new school wing becomes a secluded playground for the students of Wilson Charter School. To facilitate play, the yard is paved with decorative colored pavers that outline several game activities. Outlined are the checkered pattern of a chessboard, four square boundaries, three hopscotch courts, and a kickball diamond. A 12000 gallon cistern sits prominently in the Southeast corner collecting rain runoff that will be used for irrigation.
