Outdoor Classroom

The design of a new gymnasium, locker-room and classroom addition presented a challenge, with the only available site 17 feet below the main campus level. The solution was to design two buildings with an outdoor classroom between the two structures. This creative solution not only developed a "lower campus" complex but provided the bonus of an outdoor learning space -- now host to an expanded physical education program, large art projects, dramatics, and other outdoor gatherings.
