Miden High School, Media Center

Minden High School is a new school built around an existing school renovated as part of a phased construction project. The location is in a historic neighborhood and 2 blocks from Minden's historic Main Street. Minden High is designed using community schools concepts and the library / media center is among school facilities that extend use of the school for other public activities. A media production studio and small lecture auditorium are also part of the library. Clear story day lighting and views to the north overlooking the campus add to the quality of the barrel vault exposed structure stack and reading room. the library is design for the librarian and control desk to have good visibility of all parts of the library.
