This multipurpose pavilion is open on all sides. Seeming more like a covered courtyard, this space will never smell like a sweaty locker room, and because the ventilation system is all natural, there is no cost to heat or cool the building. The monumental roof also provides adequate shade and protection from the elements, yet the space still feels intimate. It is no surprise that this place is the social center of the campus.

Comments:
"This is a structure that makes many of us wonder why we live in an area that requires insulated walls and heating systems. Well, this building should never encounter the sick building syndrome." Joel@schooldesigner.com
