The concept for a 13,000 SF new district office for Sedona Oak Creek Unified School District is primarily driven by recognition of the role of the Sedona landscape within the community. The rich and dynamic setting dictated a simple structure that was inspired by nature, and one which was minimally invasive yet materially powerful. The adage ‘Simplicity is the essence of true beauty' is reflected through attention to the details that define the concept. The project, when certified, will be LEED-NC 3.0 Platinum.
