Accommodating 1,800 students, this 290,000-square-foot high school incorporates three schools within a school with decentralized Administration and smaller educational learning communities for general and specialty education. Smaller breakout spaces supplement traditional classrooms and are flexible for small group interaction, student/teacher conferences and independent study. Designed to LEED Standards, over 80% of the spaces are daylit, including most classrooms and the media center. High performance mechanical systems include ice storage tanks and a heat recovery system.
