The Media Center is located adjacent to the main school entrance and shares a large glass window. The design concept for this element was to give children a sense of entering a tropical jungle. Since the window graphic was installed at a child height, the only view for them into the space is through an oversized magnifying glass. The intention is for them to peer into the jungle and discover new things including a magnified ant. Additional Info: Early design concepts included binoculars with butterflies, a snake who swallowed a book, and the magnifying glass with ant. | Elementary School: Sunnyside Elementary School Metropolitan School District (MSD) of Lawrence Township | Indianapolis, IN![]() ![]() ![]() Photos: All images by Woollen, Molzan and Partners, Inc. |
